I usually really like 140 gr Barnes TTSX (can't find any, anywhere) for my Savage 7mm-08 using 43.6 grains of RL-15 - good accuracy and no obvious pressure signs. I started off with nosler 140 accubonds and the Imr-4350 I fireformed with, 1"groups @ about 2750 fps-2850 fps. 402. Location. Wyoming. I used to shoot 139 sst out of my 7-08. They were Hornady Superformance factory loads, and the shot well and the bullets held together better than Ballistic Tips. I went to handloading though, so I never did figure out what the load was. FWIW, I shoot 140 grain Accubonds out of a Tikka 7-08 now and it likes 40ish grains ....
